A. What drew you to Loyola? What is one office, department, organization, etc. on campus (curricular and co-curricular) that makes you enthusiastic to learn more? Which organization ignited an interest for you at the resource fair?
I was drawn by its location(in the city) and its Jesuit education. I am most interested in the Department of Political Science because of my love for politics. For the third question, I liked almost every organization, but the Writing Center was my favorite. I will definitely be utilizing it when writing papers.
B. What makes you most excited about becoming a Rambler and beginning at Loyola/college? What makes you most nervous?
Having a fresh start and becoming more independent. I am excited for this new phase in my life. I am a little nervous about the classes; I'm a good student but I keep hearing how difficult college courses are.
C. C. Provide some of your interests (academic and non-academic) and how they will lead your life where you would like to go in the future!
Politics and debating, which I hope will lead me to a career in the political field.
D. What is one thing you would like your advisor to know about you?
I was in Model United Nations at my high school for four years.
E. What does Loyola's Jesuit Catholic mission mean to you?
I would like to be actively involved in service and social justice.
F. Highlight one growing experience for you that occurred in the recent past.
Going to a Kairos retreat gave me more confidence in myself and taught me that others may be going through things I know nothing about. I became more accepting of others and try to understand things through their perspective.
